Lead civil hydraulic structural engineer with 21+ years of experience in design, construction supervision and project management of hydropower projects. Laxman is a dynamic Hydraulic Engineer who maintains a positive and creative outlook on hydraulic solutions for intake and water conveyance system. Worked as Hydraulic Expert for SMEC Asia Pacific region’s core team that runs CFD software as well as transient analysis including Flow 3D OpenFOAM, Hytran and River Flow 2D. Responsibility included review of hydraulic design and supervision of construction projects. Well exposed on feasibility and detailed design for hydraulic works, hydrology, and project layout including design management of small to medium scale hydropower projects.

He has worked as key person for managing international resources and technical issues of different hydropower projects. His recent work experience includes working as Team Leader/ Hydropower Engineer for Updating Feasibility Study and Detailed Engineering Design of 53.5 MW Upper Myagdi HEP in Nepal; International Team Leader for NEA Engineering Company in Nepal; Hydraulic Expert for 25 MW Budhi Gandaki and 111 MW Rasuwagadhi HEPs in Nepal; Hydraulic/ Structures Engineer for 500 MW Wawa PSP in Philippines, Hydraulic Engineer for 230 MW Telom, 1050 MW Ulu Jelai and 230 MW Telom HEPs in Malaysia; and Hydropower Design Engineer for Upper Buine HPP in PNG.

Mr. Sitaram Neupane

Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Hydraulic Schemes from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, (EPFL), Switzerland, 2005 and Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus Tribhuvan University, Nepal, 1997.
with over 25 years of experience in various civil engineering fields, specifically in the hydropower sector, he has led various feasibility study and detailed design of hydropower projects in the role of Team Leader, Hydropower Engineer, Hydraulic Engineer and Cost Engineer. His major works include detailed design of Upper Myagdi (53.5 MW), Lower Seti (126 MW), Upper Modi Cascade (60.2 MW), Upper Phawa (5.8 MW), Super Aankhu (25.4 MW) HEPs, feasibility study of Bajhang Upper Seti (216 MW), Sapsup Khola (6.6 MW), Kasuwa Khola (45 MW) HEPs and technical due diligence of Super Tamor (166 MW), Solu Dudhkoshi (86 MW) and Phukot Karnali (480 MW).

Mr. Sushil Bahadur Singh

Sushil has more than 20 years of experience in providing advisory and liaison services related to logistic support services, local construction and engineering backup, legal and tax matters, pre-qualification/ tender proposal preparation, clearing and transport to renowned national/ international contractors/ manufacturers/ developers/consultants during project identification/creation stage, pre-solicitation stage, solicitation and submission stage, post-solicitation stage and contract/project execution stage. He has actively worked with international contractors and consultants in the field of aviation, information technology, telecommunication, hydropower, roads and highway.
His recent experience includes working for TPSC (Toshiba Plant Systems and Services Corporation, Japan) wherein he was involved in establishing and growing TPSC team in Nepal. TPSC has now firmly established itself as major Electro-mechanical equipment (hydropower turbine and generator) supplier/ EPC Contractor in Nepal.
