Transient Analysis

Transient Analysis is another key analysis in pipe failure due to water hammer problem. The company is providing this service to hydropower project on water conveyance system. The DCS is promoting this sector by providing training and working as sales agent for HYTRAN software.

Computational fluid dynamics (CFD)/Numerical Modelling

This is a tool developed in fluid mechanics. It uses numerical analysis and data structures to analyze and solve problems that involve fluid flows. High-end computers are used to perform the calculations required to simulate the free-stream flow of the fluid, and the interaction of the fluid (liquids and gases) with surfaces defined by boundary conditions. CFD is applied to a wide range of research and engineering problems in many fields of study and industries, including aerodynamics and aerospace analysis, weather simulation, natural science and environmental engineering, industrial system design and analysis, biological engineering and fluid flows, and engine and combustion analysis.

DCS is the first company working on this sector especially for hydraulic structures of hydropower projects. And the company is devoted to expand this sector. At present CFD is becoming is very common tool to check hydraulic regime and optimize the cost for physical modelling.
