Bhimtar Village Reconstruction, Sindhupalchowk

The redevelopment of Bhimtar Village in Sindhupalchowk involved planning safer housing and community infrastructure tailored to local needs. It formed part of a post-earthquake educational and community revitalization programme supported by SOS Children’s Villages International.

Mistry Architects, Bangalore, prepared a master plan integrating local materials and traditional construction practices. Wangla Engineering and Developers mobilized local labour for implementation, while Darshan Consulting Services Pvt. Ltd. (DCS) provided technical support.
